Help Noodle Heal After a Terrifying Dog Attack

Our beloved dog Noodle was recently the victim of a devastating dog attack while we were out on a walk. Noodle weighs just 7 pounds, and the dog that attacked him was over 120 pounds. Despite being so small, Noodle fought with all the strength he had, he’s always been loud, mighty, and full of heart.

The attack left Noodle with extensive injuries. He needed emergency surgery, suffered broken ribs, and had large areas of skin pulled away from the bone. He’s now recovering, but his healing journey will take time, care, and multiple laser treatments to help repair his damaged skin and prevent infection.

The emotional toll of seeing our brave little guy in pain has been immense and the financial burden has been overwhelming. This was a completely unexpected tragedy, and to make things more difficult, the other dog’s owner is homeless, meaning we have no support to cover the medical costs.

Through it all, Noodle has shown incredible courage and resilience. Even in pain, he wags his tail, gives kisses, and reminds us why he’s such a special part of our family. He’s older now, but he’s fighting hard and we’re doing everything we can to help him heal.
