Niko's Fight Against Leukemia

Hi everyone!

I am here to share that my nephew Niko was recently diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL).

In the last few weeks, he has been hospitalized, undergone a chest port placement, bone marrow biopsy, two lumbar punctures, and multiple rounds of chemotherapy all surrounding the week of his 3rd birthday. Although this is nothing a 3-year-old should have to experience Niko has proven to be brave so far in this journey.

I am raising money for my sister Kali to help offset expenses and contribute to Niko's treatment which is anticipated to last 2-3 years. Any money raised will also support the rest of her family, including her 1-year-old daughter (Mari), and Ryan (dad) who will not be able to work as much as they focus on taking care of Niko and ensuring he makes it to weekly appointments.
