As many of you know, Nikki has been in the Critical Care ICU since May 2nd. She was at work when she suddenly felt weak and decided to go to the hospital. Everything happened so quickly. We found out her lymphoma was back along with tumor lysis syndrome and several other conditions that were attacking her vital organs and shutting them down quickly. She was supposed to transfer to a specialty hospital but was not strong enough to make the transport, so they decided to deliver the medication and specialty doctor to her, which has been amazing.
At this time, she is receiving several doses of chemo inpatient on top of continuous dialysis. During this time, I am unable to work as I need to be with her, and obviously, she is unable to work, and our bills are piling up. Our friends and family have been amazing and supportive, and we just want to thank everybody. ❤️ I'm not really good at asking for help, but I am good at being there for her and helping take care of her.
