Hello, my name is Niki. I've spent most of my adult life helping and serving others. I worked as a healthcare provider for 15 years, including taking care of my mother through her battle with cancer till the very end. Over the past decade, I've dedicated my time raising funds to help families across America.

I ask the community to help in my time of need. Over the year, I have been hospitalized over twenty times in attempts to learn what is causing so much increased pain. Suffering from anything from debilitating migraines, abdominal pain, joint pain and bone fusion, vertigo, and seizures. Three times a week since December, the amazing staff at West Jefferson Medical Center have worked around the clock to find answers as to what is causing me so much pain and discomfort.

I have a few more procedures over the next two months and an appointment with a specialist in February. The primary concern is cancer. I lost both of my parents to cancer. My mother to pancreatic cancer and my father to cancer of the esophagus. Being a cancer survivor myself, the symptoms I'm experiencing are similar to theirs. The concerns are high between both myself and my physicians. With that said, we are going all in to narrow things down and begin the next chapter on the road to getting better.

This road has and will be much longer than I expected it to be, but with God and the strength of the community, I will not give up. With your help, I know I will get through this.

Being able to provide some stability throughout this journey will help improve my overall health as I am at risk of losing my housing.

How the funds will be used:

My goal is to raise $23,000 to cover:

• Medical procedure partial out-of-pocket cost: $10,000

• Past Due Housing expenses breakdown: $10,000

° Past due phone: 2,000

° Past due Bills: $3,000

° Upcoming rent & bills: $2,000

• Groceries: $1,500

• Medications not covered: $2,500

• Medical travel cost: $2,000

Every dollar will go towards covering the portion of my medical procedures not covered by insurance, catching up on past due rent and bills, transportation to appointments, groceries, and medication and medical supplies.
