Hello! My name is Nika Chernishov, and I am raising funds for my Hood to Coast 2025 team as team captain. I am 19 years old, and I have been running since I was young. Running comes as naturally to me as breathing, and it is a part of who I am. When I run, I feel at peace and happy. I don't know where I would be without running. I decided to sign up for Hood to Coast to motivate myself towards a goal with my running, and I am beyond excited to experience this once-in-a-lifetime race with my family and friends by my side.

The Providence Hood to Coast Relay is the most popular and largest running relay race in the world, annually drawing participants from over 40 countries and all 50 states. Teams of 8-12 people participate in this 200-mile race, beginning at Mount Hood and finishing at Seaside Beach. As such, this relay is known as “The Mother of all Relays,” and this year we were lucky to be chosen among the 1,000 teams participating. The relay this year will take place August 22-23, 2025.

Hood to Coast is partnered with Providence Cancer Center, supporting its efforts in advancing technologies to overcome cancer, and the running program is the second largest road race cancer fundraising program in the United States.

We are all thrilled to be part of this incredible event, and we are aiming to raise $6,000, which will cover the cost of:

Registration Fee ($2,500)

Two van rentals ($650)

Hotel

Food

Beverages

And other race-related expenses.

There are many costs associated with this race, and we are hoping to offset them with your help.

Given the 200-mile length of the relay, the event draws thousands of participants, including spectators, volunteers, and running groups.

For sponsorships of $500 or more, we will feature your business logo on a professionally designed auto decal, prominently displayed on our support vans throughout the course.

For sponsorships of $1,000 or more, we will feature your business logo on our t-shirts so it will be visible for every mile of the race, and provide more advertising exposure.
