Hello, I, Nicole, had an accident on 7/23 where I fell down a flight of stairs at home. I had an ambulance ride to the hospital. In the process of falling down the stairs, I did 3 major breaks to my tibia and fibula, severe dislocation of my ankle, and multiple spider web fractures. On 7/24, I had to have a fixator put on to hold my ankle in place until the swelling comes down. The orthopedic will then do a second, more extensive operation to fix the damage done.

I will be out of work for a bottom line of 6-8 weeks and only have enough PTO and CAT hours for a week of pay. If you can, please share this, and if you can, please donate. Getting my meds that are needed and wound cleaning supplies ordered by the hospital has depleted my last check, and I need help feeding my family of four, gas to get back and forth to Trinity, and with medical bills that will soon start coming in. My husband, Russell, is on SSDI with lower back issues, and his check only pays for household bills; it doesn’t cover anything else. I have always covered our gas and food, and now I have no way to.
