Nicole Wachs, a mom of three young children, suffered a Massive Stroke that has left her fighting for her life in the ICU. She cannot move or speak, and it is unclear what she can understand at this point. For those of you who are lucky enough to know Nicole, you know that she's the kindest, most generous spirit that ever lived. She is an INCREDIBLE mom (to Ryder, 12, Reece, 8, and Remy, 5), wife (to Cody), sister, daughter and friend. This devastating event has turned this family's life upside down. Nicole has been the primary breadwinner for her family in recent months. She is looking at a long road to recovery that may take months to years of rehabilitation and 24/7 round-the-clock care in the immediate future. She will have medical bills outside the scope of her allowed insurance and the need for additional childcare because her husband will also have to be tending to her needs. Without her income, this is an impossible task. With Cody caring for both Nicole and their three children, full-time work outside the home is impossible for the foreseeable future. Please help support this wonderful family. They have a challenging road ahead of them, and they need support to help Nicole fight this fight. They are no strangers to fighting. Their oldest son Ryder has developmental delays and is deaf due to meningitis at birth; he endured 11 brain surgeries before the age of 2. And has survived multiple life-threatening infections before the age of 12. This is a family of fighters. They can get through this if we are all willing to help them in whatever ways we can. These are genuinely some of the kindest people I have ever known. Nicole and Cody are the most loving parents; their kids mean EVERYTHING to them.
