Donate to Baby Isaiah's Hospital Stay

My name is Heather Gil and I am starting this go fund me on behalf of my sister Nicole Wells and baby Isaiah to help pay for her bills while she is at children’s hospital with him and food since they don’t provide for the parent while there they only provide a fridge for her to purchase items since it could be a bit. I only put this amount because we don’t know how long she will be staying and bills are already getting to be so much since he was already sick for days before being admitted and don’t know how long they will have to stay and being a single mom every day of work missed is crucial but also being with the baby during this critical time is necessary. She doesn’t have any PTO left due to her using it 3 months ago when she gave birth to him. Please anything will help and if you can’t donate please share and continue to pray!! To put a face on this for everyone this is baby Isaiah still in ICU still on Oxygen and now having to start a new antibiotic as of today but on Friday January 10th at 1:32am, he was sick but sleeping, only to have life saving measures initiated at 2:20am, and finally intubation at 2:59am.

An hour and 27 minutes.

Due to the weather and the inability to keep Isaiah stable enough for transport….we could not get Isaiah out as fast as we had originally hoped. But right when the sun came out, TMC Staff were shoveling snow/breaking the ice on the helipad so the helicopter could land. Finally Children’s Air Vac landed successfully and had hands on Isaiah by 10:00am. I’m not gonna go into specifics, but TMC Denison made crucial mistakes. Only time will tell their effect on Isaiah. There, air evac team had 45 minutes to stabilize Isaiah and be back in the air.

They did it in 38 minutes.

Touched down at 11:21am at CMS - Dallas, where he was finally able to get the help he needs. I would love to be able to say I remember this trip, but I had passed out from exhaustion in the helicopter. I was just grateful that he was now in the best hands he could be at Children’s hospital in Dallas. He was in PICU for 3 days and moved to regular ICU yesterday. He still is on 6L of O2 and starting new antibiotic today. We all hope that he will be home soon as he is a fighter!! With this being said please help whether it be by donation, sharing, and of course first and foremost Prayers!! We know God will provide and is definitely giving Isaiah and mom all the strength they need to overcome this.
