Donate to New Haven Steelers' Journey to Nationals

Hi, my name is Shatea (Teá) & I am one of 2 Team Moms for the New Haven Steelers 11u. Throughout this season these 31 young men & 10 member coaching staff has worked extremely hard all season, finishing the regular season 8-0 & winning the conference championship 32-7 against Danbury , State champions defeating Hartford 25-0 .and Regional Championship against Everett 37-6. They are now preparing for the moment they’ve all dreamed of since they started playing football some at the tender age of 6, a chance to win a National championship in Florida in December. While securing their spot in these games has been done, the financial burden might make it a little hard for them to get there & that’s where you all come in. The Steelers will take the 20hour drive to Florida December 6th & return December 14th. The cost for this trip including bus, hotel, food & a little fun is $1600 per player & coach. We are asking for any donation no matter how big or small that can make this trip more financially obtainable for some single parents or parents with multiple children.
