Hi, my name is Natalie, and I’m asking for help during the most overwhelming and frightening time of my life.

I was recently diagnosed with a tumor in my brain that is pressing on a gland responsible for hormone regulation. Doctors believe this tumor may be also linked to the seizures I’ve been experiencing the last 7 years, and without treatment, it could lead to serious and potentially catastrophic complications.

Right now, I have no health insurance because DES has repeatedly logged my information incorrectly since February, leaving me without coverage despite submitting correct information multiple times.

On top of this, my former employer, Buena Vida Bodega, reported false facts about me to the government. These statements were deemed unlawful by a judge and delayed my unemployment.

I won my unemployment case against them in July, but I still haven’t received any payments through DES. I am now five months behind on rent, without income or medical care, and in urgent need of support.

I’m raising $6000 to help me:

• Get the medical scans, neurology appointments, and specialist care required for my tumor and seizures

• Correct my DES case so I can regain health insurance

• Recover from the unlawful actions taken by my former employer

• Pay months of overdue rent and cover basic living needs while I fight for the benefits I’ve already legally won
