Donate to Nash Richards' YWAM Mission

My name is Nash Richards. I am 19 and live in southern Alabama in the United States. Recently, I applied for and was accepted to Youth With A Mission (YWAM), one of the biggest Christian missionary organizations in the world. I will be attending a 3-month Discipleship Training School (DTS) and a 3-month overseas outreach. The first 3 months I will be studying at the Salem Oregon YWAM base, and the second 3 months will be a mission trip to Indonesia. I need to raise $8000, plus a little extra to cover my school and mission costs as well as my airfare to the base from my home and back when its all finished.

I decided I wanted to go on a mission trip about a year ago during my senior year of high school. All throughout middle school and up, I was always asked what it was I wanted to do with my life. Throughout the years, I've wanted to be anything from a race car driver, to a martial arts champion, and even a rock star. But as adult hood quickly crept up on me, I realized there are still many questions about my purpose and my faith that I need to have answered. My faith in Jesus Christ has always been extremely important to time, and as I've started really studying the scriptures for the last few years, I'm starting to realize just how much of my life I need to let Jesus have and what I need to let go of. I need to know what it is like to drop everything and follow Him and His plan. I need to know this. And I want to do this before I pursue anything else in this life, such as a wife, a house, or a family. None of that matters unless my heart and spirit are aligned with God and His Kingdom.

If 80 people each donated $100 each, or if 100 people donated $80 each, I could easily reach the required minimum goal that I need to cover my costs, just to give you all some ideas. I need to raise the money quickly by June 22, 2025. I know that this is very short notice, but I have this feeling in my spirit that this is something extremely important. I pray for God's guidance as I prepare to go on this journey, and I pray for blessings over each of my donors.
