So some of you know that in January, mom became very ill and was diagnosed with brain tumors. After having brain surgery and some more brain scans, she was diagnosed with Pineal Parenchymal Tumor of Intermediate Differentiation (PPTID) Grade 3. PPTID Grade 3 is a type of brain tumor that originates in the pineal gland, a small pine-cone-shaped structure located in the center of the brain. It has spread through her spinal fluid and has since attached to her spine. She has gotten into Northwestern Cancer Center and has been doing their proton radiation but clearly was out of work for months! So if you can donate, it would be greatly appreciated!
