My name is Finn Smith, and I am a young mountain biker from Kansas. I started mountain biking when I was 4 years old and have continued to improve and thrive to become a high-level mountain biker. I started racing bikes at a very young age, which has allowed me to meet amazing people and form a solid family of cyclists and supporters. This sport has had a huge impact on who I am today making me more adventurous, brave, social, and determined to improve all aspects of my life. To further my mountain biking and education, I will be attending my third and final year of high school at World Class Academy-Mountain Bike (link to World Class Academy Mountain Bike), a school that travels to several locations across the world allowing the students to meet new people, emerge themselves in different cultures, all while receiving a top-notch education in school and mountain biking. This year the school will travel to Whistler, Canada, Italy, France, New Zealand, and Slovenia. We will be training and racing throughout the school year. I could not imagine a better way to spend my senior year of high school and have the privilege of graduating from such an amazing school and mountain bike program. As you can imagine, the school is quite costly and to attend my final year I need a lot of support from people who are interested in helping this Kansas mountain biker travel the world. I have taken it upon myself to help obtain the necessary funds this year to stay in this mountain bike school. I will be so grateful to anyone willing and able to donate.
