About Ms. Georgia Shipp

To know Ms. Georgia is to instantly feel warmth, love, and comfort. She is the heart of her family, the one who loves deeply, cares tirelessly, and makes every gathering feel like home. Thanksgiving has always been her favorite time of year. Her cornbread dressing, red velvet cake, and the joy she brought to her kitchen created lifelong family memories.

This year, the holidays feel different. Instead of cooking and filling her home with laughter, Ms. Georgia is recovering from a life-changing health crisis. Still, her family holds close to hope that with time, support, and healing, she will one day return to the things she loves.

WHAT HAPPENED:

Recently, Ms. Georgia suffered multiple strokes and underwent open-heart surgery. These back-to-back medical emergencies have altered her life dramatically. While her strength and resilience have brought her this far, the journey ahead is long, demanding, and incredibly costly.

WHY WE’RE RAISING FUNDS:

Ms. Georgia now requires daily assistance with:

• Mobility and walking support

• Medication management

• Meal preparation

• Personal and hygiene care

• Therapy and rehabilitation

• Professional in-home caregiving services

Unfortunately, many of these essential needs are not covered by insurance, leaving the family with overwhelming out-of-pocket expenses.
