Hi all,
I’m starting this Gofundme for my dad, Mario. Anyone who knows Mo, knows the brightness and positivity that he brings into each and every person’s lives that he interacts with. He’s been my mom’s biggest supporter, the love of her life, and the dad I never had. He stepped up when no one else would and was the father and supporter our family had always been missing. Almost a year after my mom was in remission from breast cancer, my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer. It’s extremely aggressive and has rocked our entire family in the worst of ways. But you wouldn’t know it from Mo. He has had to have a feeding tube placed, has undergone radiation, and is now starting his first of 12 chemo sessions. But he is still constantly worried about everyone else. He still texts us to make sure we’re okay, to see how we’re doing, and doesn’t want anyone worried about him or his condition. Everyone has been so supportive of our family, and has gone above and beyond for my parents. I’m starting this in hopes that medical bills will be the last thing on my parent’s plate. My mom is taking care of Mo full time now and Mo’s recovery is the only thing that I want her to have to think about. If you are unable to donate, please share or reach out to my mom. Any and all positivity, and support is welcome.
