Hi, I'm Katie and if you have seen my hair look good at any point over the last 20 years (blonde, bangs, long, short, you name it), it's been thanks to my wonderful, dedicated and cool hairstylist and friend, Monica Minoui. Perhaps you, too, have gotten compliments on the work she's done on your head. Perhaps you have complimented mine. Or, perhaps you're simply a mensch (like Monica).

Monica has undergone a few orthopedic surgeries in recent years, plus experienced some real health roulette challenges of late including Parsonage-Turner syndrome (brachial neuritis), a nerve problem that has rendered her unable to fully use her left arm/hand. As a result, in the lead-up to her latest surgery (scheduled just a few weeks from now) as well as her recovery, Monica is unable to work.

Monica has a great medical team that she trusts, and we all expect the latest surgery to be a turning point. This is New York City, so the bills do keep coming—please help me help Monica to build a little cushion to keep bills paid, get to/from doctors' appointments, etc. so she can focus on getting her health and strength back in the coming couple of months.
