Well, I’m going to have to set my pride aside to make this post. As all of you know, Nathan and I have been going through a rough month. I’m going to make this very long drama as short as I can and without naming names.
Two people, along with their two children, showed up at my mother-in-law's house at around 3 am one night, banging on the doors and windows, shining bright lights in the windows, and laying on the horn over and over again. Their ultimate goal was to get a puppy back that was rescued from their house because it wasn’t being taken care of. The police had already spoken with them and stated it was a civil matter, so they took it into their own hands. As we show up, Nathan asked them to leave, and I walked on the porch with my gun. I don’t have a holster or anything, and it’s too large for my pocket, so I was holding it by my side. I was unsure of what these people were capable of, and they were extremely confrontational. After it took the police a very long time to get there, they finally showed up, and everyone told their sides. Somehow, instead of the issue being the people who trespassed and harassed others at 3 am, they convinced them that I pointed the gun at them. Then it became I pointed the gun at the kids! Well, anyone who knows me knows I would never do that, but the cops gave them all the information they needed to press charges on me, even though it never happened. So I have a court date in less than two weeks, and I need to get a lawyer as well as this has been financially draining on us with having to deal with it all and miss work, so I am asking if anyone can help and donate, we would be so extremely thankful.
I keep saying idk how we got here because I literally never get in trouble. Not even speeding tickets lol, but if God has a purpose to turn this to good (and many good things have already come out of this situation), then I’m ok because He will make a way.
