Hello! My name is Cait, and I am raising money for my sweet friend, Miranda.

Miranda is 30 years old and the embodiment of strength, resilience, courage, confidence and pure beauty. She is one of the most amazing women I have ever met. She has been to the trenches of hell and back and has worked so hard to make a life for herself. She is a single mother to 2 beautiful young children and is one of my best friends in the whole world.

Early last month, her entire world was flipped upside-down when she was tragically diagnosed with Stage 2 Metastatic Triple Negative Breast Cancer. This cancer is rare, aggressive and difficult to treat. Her treatment plan is intense and will take a while to complete. Her port was placed Wednesday 3/5, and chemo started immediately after on Thursday 3/6.

Chemo will take 24 weeks, with treatment being once a week. Once Chemo is finished, she will need surgery - either a lumpectomy or mastectomy depending on how well the chemo works. During this time, Miranda will be unable to work and as a single mother - that is putting her in a really tough position. Her landlord is also not willing to work with her on her past due utility payments and is threating her with eviction in 4 days.

I am putting this Go Fund Me together to help raise money for Miranda so she can continue to provide for herself and her children, while fighting for her life.
