Earlier this week Mike suffered a heart attack. He was rushed to the hospital, where he has been receiving exceptional medical care. However, this hospital is unfortunately out of his insurance provider’s network. Mike now faces open heart surgery and a coronary artery bypass graft-procedures that will result in significant medical bills.

Mike has dedicated his life to helping others. As a kindergarten teacher at Golden Empire Elementary in Sacramento, and as a volunteer camp counselor and “camp dad” at Celiac Camp in Livermore for the past 18 years, Mike has mentored and inspired countless children. His kindness, passion, and unwavering support have made a lasting impact on everyone he meets.
