My name is Mike Drury. I am not the typical guy to share my struggles, but I am a chef who works day and night to provide a roof, food, and pleasure for my family. My family was my priority, ensuring they had a good life, until my life changed drastically.

I had a stroke that led my life to disaster; being disabled, divorced, and on a fixed income. I have a lot of medical bills, and some medications that I need are very expensive and unaffordable. Since then, every single appliance in my house has either needed to be replaced or repaired.

My house also needs repairs, such as covering holes where rats come in and destroy the fridge by eating the wires and tubes. This has led to food spoilage, and I don't have the money to buy a new fridge or groceries due to the loss of power needed to keep them at the right temperature.
