As many of you know, my brother, Michael Schaecher, moved to Mexico City a few years ago. On Friday, February 7th, we received the horrible news that Michael was admitted to the ICU in Mexico City for heart failure, liver failure, and kidney failure. While his prognosis is not good, we are incredibly grateful for the exceptional care he is receiving. Michael continues to fight, and if he survives, he will have a very long road ahead.

Michael is not a Mexican citizen, and he does not have insurance. Therefore, our family is paying for his care out of pocket. As you can imagine, prolonged stays in the ICU to treat multiple organ failures generates substantial bills. We greatly appreciate anything you are willing to contribute.
