Hi everyone, my name is Alisha, this is my baby girl Mia. Mia is an outgoing, loving, full of life pup. She has embraced life to the fullest even throughout the struggles she’s faced along the way. Over the years Mia has battled a number of surgeries to remove different masses. She will now be going into her fourth surgery for a cancerous tumor. This tumor is located on her right back leg and grown rapidly over the past couple of weeks. Last week she went to the ER and her vet which did testing. When I received the call from her doctor that it was in fact cancerous and they would need to remove it along with possibly amputate her entire leg, my heart shattered. Her surgery is set for April 8th and then visits with an oncologist for treatments following. She's likely gonna need some type of chemotherapy or radiation chemotherapy. I can’t do it alone. For anyone that sees this and knows me, knows my fur babies are my kids. They are family and mean more to me than I could ever put into words. I am creating my first ever go fund me to save her.
