Hello, my name is Mesha Wright. I'm a single mama and I am currently going through ESRD. About 8 years ago, I was diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome/FSGS. I maintained a decent lifestyle until 2021 when I got pregnant with my daughter. I found out at 21 weeks I was pregnant with my baby girl. I was warned that due to my pregnancy, it would take a lot out of my kidneys. I went through with the pregnancy as it may be my only chance to have a child. I was high risk and my body eventually started giving up. In 2023, I got extremely sick thinking I was relapsing, and come to find out I had pneumonia and was going through complete renal failure. I am currently on dialysis for 9 hours a day. Because I switched from hemodialysis to at-home peritoneal dialysis, I wanted to be home with my 2-year-old daughter. I am currently working on being on the transplant list, but as you know, it's a process. I had to resign from work and wait on disability to approve me. Medically, it's hard because I have a child and this was so unexpected. But I strive for the best every day.

The reason why I am asking for donations is to help with medical bills and to help with my daughter when my time comes to get a transplant. As well as help my donor if I may find a living donor with any losses or expenses. This battle has been taking a toll on my body and family. I never ask for help, but I definitely need it. It doesn't get easy at all. Like I said, I pray and make it work the best way I can. I would love to be able to be here to watch my daughter grow up. All I ask is to give what you can. Recent Update: I had to have emergency open heart surgery due to a major infection. This battle is hard but I will keep fighting.
