It's been a few years since we hosted a fundraiser for Meowland. Meowland is a cat rescuary. Cats have been rescued from death row, the streets, and some have been surrendered.

Meowland is different from most rescues in that it is a cat sanctuary. The cats who end up there are cared for with help from donations from their wish list and monetary donations to cover vet bills.

With so many cats to care for, someone is always in need of a vet visit. Currently, there are several cats in need of dental work, many who require ongoing medication, and a few seniors who need exams and bloodwork. All of that costs money, and that is on top of the day-to-day needs like food, litter, and cleaning supplies. The music video posted for this fundraiser is based on profiles of the kind of cat who ends up at Meowland and the main character in my upcoming Meowland book series.
