Hello, I'm Claudia the oldest child out of 5 for Melissa... I'm here to help my mom during her time of need by spreading her story of courage in hopes that it will inspire some to help in anyway they can even if its solemnly through a prayer.

This past Mother's day my mom went to the emergency room due to a headache that wasn't subsiding. After being sent home originally she felt uneasy and returned the next day after further exams it was then discovered that she had a 8.7 cm Glioma brain tumor on her right frontal lobe. With no clear understanding of what was to come she put her faith in her doctors & God to help her remove this mass that had unknowingly been impacting her life for up to 2 + yrs... After a long 3 weeks in the hospital & a 6 hr brain surgery she is thankfully recovering... But the biggest challenge is still ahead not only medically but financially... But with the support of her family, friends & kind strangers she can continue to attend rehab sessions, radiation, doctor appointments & not need to worry about how she will have the means to do so until she is God willing healed. Thank you again even if its just for your thoughts & prayers it means the world to us, but if you can help in any additional ways I know that my mother would never stop thinking of/thanking you.
