My name is Kim and my twin sister Melissa was diagnosed with stage 4 serous carcinoma ovarian cancer that rapidly spread to other areas on 4/28/25. She stared chemo had her 1st round on June 9th. She will do 3 rounds and then a aggressive surgery and 3 more rounds. She has not been able to work and will not return to work anytime soon. With treatments, medical expenses, and daily bills the financial burden is starting to grow.
