On 12 July 2025, our family suffered an unimaginable tragedy. My beloved mother, Melinda Sue Schoon, was tragically taken from us in a senseless act of violence by her own husband, who then took his own life. This loss has left us devastated, and the pain we are experiencing is indescribable. As we try to navigate through this overwhelming grief, we are also faced with the harsh reality of funeral expenses. Her wishes were to be cremated.

We are asking for your support to help cover the costs of giving my mother the dignified farewell she deserves. No amount is too small, and every donation will go directly toward funeral services, transportation, and other necessary arrangements.

My mother was a kind, loving, and selfless person who touched the lives of everyone she met. We want to honor her memory with a service that truly reflects the incredible person she was.
