Donate to Megan's Family in Their Time of Need

Hello! I am asking for help for a dear friend and her beautiful family. Megan and Mike married 12 years ago and have two beautiful daughters in elementary school. In August of 2023, they moved into their dream home in Norrisville. Then in February of 2024, Mike suffered a traumatic brain injury due to diabetic ketoacidosis. It has been a long and trying 8 months. During a recent hospitalization, Megan learned that Mike's condition is likely permanent. Due to his TBI, Mike lost his job and securing disability is a long process that is not easy to navigate. Megan is a dedicated and passionate elementary school teacher who is continuing to serve her students. To be blunt, her teaching salary cannot support the family. Megan is one of the kindest people you will ever meet. She is doing all she can to care for Mike, make endless appointments and phone calls, all while trying to keep some normalcy for her daughters. She has a incredibly supportive family, and while she would do anything for anyone, she is struggling to make ends meet. No family deserves to go through such a hardship, but the difficult part of this is that this is not something that will likely change for this family in the future. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated and used to pay bills and hopefully keep this family in the home they worked so hard for. Life is not fair and sometimes we need help.
