- Hello friends and family, my name is Maria. I am here to ask for help for my granddaughter Mayah. In 2016, Mayah started suffering from seizures. In 2021, they started to become more severe and frequent. Despite starting medications, they have not improved. She is no longer allowed to work, drive or enjoy things most 22 year olds should. She is currently undergoing testing to find the cause of these seizures which has created extensive medical debt. The testing includes placing 20 probes into her brain where she will need to remain in the hospital for an extended period of time. Once the results of the test are in she will then undergo brain surgery.
My purpose and goal for this fundraiser is to help relieve the stress and pressures of medical expenses for my family so we can focus on what truly matters most. No amount is too small.
All proceeds will go directly to Mayah's medical expenses.
