Max has been in mine and my family’s life for over 14 years now. He’s so energetic and full of life for his age. He’s also a survivor of IVDD.
About a month ago he couldn’t pee and would cry out in pain. His diagnosis was urethral obstruction and bladder stones. The first veterinary clinic misdiagnosed him… he had to be rushed later to an emergency hospital, where they suggested he should be put down. Which wasn’t something that made sense to us.
We were referred to a second emergency hospital where we were given prices and different options. In the end, the surgery was successful and he has been recovering well. Max is back to his energetic self.
Veterinary visits are very expensive and I would like to ask for help from whoever can at this time. The total is around $12,000. Anything helps, thank you.
