Donate to Maverick in memory of Geoffrey DeAvila

On May 22, 2022, we lost Geoff DeAvila, who was an amazing son, friend and father. Anyone who knew Geoff knew he had a huge heart and was willing to give whatever he could to whoever needed, but unfortunately, his heart wasn't as strong physically. Geoff spent almost all of his free time with his son, Maverick, who was the most important person in his life to him. Geoff dreamed of being a dad for a very long time, and in October of 2020, his dream came true. Maverick was everything to him, and with his passing, we wanted to do what we could to be sure that Maverick would be set up as best as possible later in life as we felt Geoff would have wanted. So with that in mind, we have set up this GoFundMe for those who have voiced wanting to donate to this cause. All funds will be added to a trust fund for Maverick in hopes that he will know how much Geoff loved him and worried about his well-being and how much those he loved were able to support him, even with him being gone.

Geoff will be dearly missed, and we will continue to mourn the sudden loss. If you have a fond memory of him, please feel free to share it with the hopes that Maverick will one day be able to read the many pleasant memories and thoughts from those he cared for.

As of yet, there has not been a memorial or service scheduled for Geoff, but from what his mom has told me it should be planned for sometime around September. I will try to reach out to everyone but please spread the word about this GoFundMe and the service once planned in hopes we notify everyone who would want to be involved.
