As many of you know, I was laid off from HSN in July and have been job-hunting ever since. I thought my “break” would be a new role — instead, it was my leg.

On Sunday, a simple bike ride turned into a bad accident. I shattered my tibia plateau, needed two surgeries, and now face at least three months non-weight-bearing on my right leg (no driving, no working). Between medical bills, rehab, and lost income, the strain is real.
