My best friend Allison is trying to raise money to pay for Maui's surgery.

In late October, her cat, Maui, was taken to the vet for swollen lymph nodes, but at the time, the vet concluded that there wasn't anything to worry about.

Fast forward to a few weeks ago, her whole neck was suddenly swollen. She took her in to get a second opinion at a specialty vet, and after doing numerous tests and waiting for cytology reports, they are suspicious of a tumor that is blocking her nasal way. They are unsure if it is cancerous, but they will need to run multiple tests and suggested a CT scan of Maui's head following a Retroflex Pharyngoscopy of the nasal way to remove the tumor or cancerous material (if present) to make sure she is healthy. She will then be monitored and hospitalized as needed.

Pets are much more than just animals; they are a part of the family, and I am here to ask for help with donations. Anything helps. As soon as her goal is met, the appointment can be made and the process can start.

Allison adopted Maui from a shelter back in 2020 when she was only 2 years old. An instant connection was made between Allison and Maui, and they formed a special bond. She talks about her 24/7, and I can tell how much she cares about her.
