Matthew and help aid this long road to recovery

First, I have never done this before, so please bear with me as this all has been an absolute nightmare. I'm not one who usually asks for any help, but any contribution, no matter how small, even if it's just prayers, would be deeply appreciated.

While walking Thursday night around 7 pm, Matthew was hit by a truck going 50 mph. The driver stayed at the scene but was released as he wasn't under the influence and cooperated with law enforcement. Nobody is being held accountable for doing this. He was transported by ambulance to KMC and put in the ICU. After seeing how significant his injuries were, KMC airlifted him to an outside hospital for better in-depth care. He is at a level 1 trauma hospital 3.5 hours away from home. Matthew is in the intensive care unit on a ventilator, suffering from broken ribs, collapsed lungs, a broken neck, a broken back in multiple spots, a fractured skull, and two brain bleeds, along with many lacerations, including road rash.

Donations will help cover expenses such as travel, lodging, and other necessities needed during this time. James (dad) and Morgan (sister) will need time off work to be with Matthew as we have no idea how long his hospital stay will be or what life will look like a month from now. We don't want him alone as he has a very long road to recovery.
