My name is Matthew Rice and I used to work at Blizzard Entertainment.

A week before my medical procedures for suicidal depression, I was without a job unexpectedly.

It's been 6 months with no employment despite constant job interviews.

When I was at Blizzard, I did what I could to try to promote GoFundMe campaigns and fundraisers, as well as networking for my friends and roommates who were also unemployed by Blizzard. I am now in the position where I have to ask for help.

I understand that in this economy not many people can spare any money, let alone the empathy for another sad sack, so if you have the bandwidth to share this with those who can afford it, please do.

Funds will be used for bills and rent expenses until I can find a career or when one of my government assistance programs begins which could take more than 6 months to 2 years.
