Support for the Family of Matthew Harman

On October 5th, our dear friend Matthew Harman's life was tragically cut short due to a devastating incident. It's hard to put into words all that Matt Harman is and the reach of his influence — but, he was a devoted father to two beautiful young girls, a loving life partner, a cherished friend, musician and a valued member of our community. His sudden passing has left a deep hole in the hearts of all who knew him.

Matthew was the kind of person who showed up for others — with a smile, a helping hand, or a joke to make everyone's life brighter. He was a human that made everyone feel like family the minute they met him. He loved his family fiercely and worked hard to create a life full of love, laughter, and meaning. He worked hard to embody his vision of a lifestyle based in permaculture, art and community at the Funny Farm, 25 acres of farm and forest land where Matt and his closest friends and family have called home for the last 10 years.

Now, it's our turn to show up for him and for the people he loved most.

We are raising funds to support Matthew’s family during this unimaginably difficult time. The money raised will go directly toward:
