Donate to Mary's Electrolysis Treatment

As many of you know, I have been living as my authentic self, Mary, for about six months now. I struggled with my gender identity for a long time, but finally took the plunge and started hormones in late November of 2024. It has brought me so much joy and confidence to see myself in this new light and have so much support.
However, one of the things that has made it the hardest is how hairy I have always been. Right now, it is one of the biggest obstacles I face when trying to dress femininely. It takes hours of shaving and pints of Nair (as well a very painful chemical burns and extremely irritated skin) to feel feminine enough to dress the way I want. As the weather has warmed, my body and facial hair causes me more and more discomfort. I have to cover up or do a lot of work to be able to wear the clothes I want to wear.
Electrolysis would help me immensely. With permanent hair removal, I would be able to go out and feel more like a woman in whatever I wear. I still feel like I am in "boy mode" when wearing a T-shirt and jeans because my facial and neck hair shows. Even with shaving my face, I can still tell I have stubble and feel self conscious about others noticing. But, electrolysis is expensive. It's not covered very well by insurance, so it just isn't something my husband and I are able to afford right now.
So, as we come into Pride Month, I am asking my friends and family to help me make my dreams a reality. As many of you may be aware, I have never liked my body hair, but now it has become unbearable. Any donation you are able to make would help support me in my transition, and I am deeply grateful to you for taking the time to read this.
