Hello Friends!

My name is Matt Cunningham and I am reaching out to anyone today who may be able and interested in supporting Martin Castillo as he battles Cholangiocarcinoma.

He is a proud immigrant who came to the USA in 1998 and has worked hard to support himself in this country. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma on September 1st, 2024 and has had to give up working fulltime while seeking chemotherapy and radiation treatment at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona.

After he successfully completes treatment, he will then be re-assessed as a possible candidate for a full liver transplant, which is the only way he can be cured from this disease.

Martin has been blessed with family and friends who are his emotional support but he knows that financially he may never be able to survive this journey without additional financial help. The cost of living today plus incredible medical costs these days drives many into bankruptcy. He needs to know that there are people in the world who want and are able to help!

He also continues to be grateful for the amazing help that Kaiser Fresno Medical Center has provided him with early diagnosis and fast track approval to seek treatment and transplant with the Mayo Clinic Phoenix, which is a world famous provider for liver transplant recipients.

Martin is also grateful to all the friends, family and co-workers that have supported him over the years in his journey to succeed in America as a immigrant who arrived here in his mid-20s. Now at the age of 51, we are afraid that without additional financial support all his work and striving to succeed here will be for nothing.

Please consider any level of financial help that you feel you may be able to contribute to his medical costs and living expenses before and after transplant.
