Unfortunately, after 14 years of battling and surviving 3 strokes, Mark passed away from cardiac arrest on November 1st at 58 years old. He will be put to rest on November 30th, 2025, with a funeral service at Mountain View Cemetery in Altadena, CA, and a memorial at Montana’s Nightclub in San Dimas, CA.

He did not have much left after all he endured, and while the state completely covered his medical bills, his basic burial costs are overwhelming and need to be covered by the funeral date. I, his daughter, have some funds but not nearly enough yet. This is my last resort, I really didn’t want to ask for help like this, but any would be greatly appreciated. He wanted to be buried so I plan to go to any means necessary to make sure we can remember and honor him. Whatever may come in will go solely to burial, funeral, and memorial costs.

Mark was special to so many. He was incredibly charismatic with the sweetest heart and would quietly go above and beyond to help even a stranger. Over the years, I’ve heard so many beautiful stories of his kindness and have watched it firsthand. So, anything, no matter how small, helps make this beautiful event happen in his honor.
