Dear Family and Friends,

We come together to support our beloved friend and brother in Christ, Mark Vaughan. While he has managed prior medical issues, including Type 1 Diabetes, a broken neck from a tragic fall and Ankylosing Spondylitis, Mark has recently battled an intestinal infection that uncovered a malignant mass on his kidney.

With his strong faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, Mark continues to press onward with his key responsibilities as a loving husband to his wife Carolyn, an educator at Sara Collins Elementary School, as well as a dedicated leader as Senior Associate Athletics Director of Athletic Development at Anderson University.

While we hold strong in our collective faith as believers that Mark will be healed, we know that there is uncertainty not only in facing the physical challenges of cancer but also the overwhelming financial strain it has brought. On behalf of our small group at Brookwood Church in Simpsonville, SC, we are raising funds to help alleviate some of the financial burden and allow Mark to focus on his healing and recovery.

Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated. Funds will be used to pay exorbitant medical expenses, including hospital bills and medication costs as well as potential surgeries and future cancer treatments.

Giving is entirely optional. Mark and Carolyn are deeply grateful for any support—financial, spiritual, or emotional. We kindly ask for prayers for Mark and Carolyn during this difficult season in life.
