Currently his insurance does not cover all of his expenses.

In order for him to become independent he needs consistent physical therapy.

He is looking for help with medication costs, surgery, physical therapy, and housing.

It’s been a long and challenging year since Mario’s life changed in an instant due to a traumatic spinal cord injury. The road has been anything but easy, but through every obstacle, Mario continues to show incredible strength, resilience, and determination.

He is now learning to navigate life as a quadriplegic — a reality that looks very different from the life he once knew. Every day presents new challenges, from basic daily tasks to intensive therapies, but Mario is pushing forward with courage and hope.

His spirit remains unshaken. He continues to fight not just for mobility, but for independence, dignity, and the ability to live a full life surrounded by those who love him.

While progress can be slow and uncertain, the support from this community means everything. The funds raised so far have helped with medical bills, adaptive equipment, and essential care — but the journey is far from over.
