Margie Bowser
If you’ve ever visited the Reisterstown Family Diner, you’ve probably met Margie Bowser.. She has been a staple there for 15 years. She may have greeted you, seated you, served you, or collected the money for your bill. What you didn’t see, is that Margie is a loving person who takes care of her family members, often putting their needs before her own.
Recently, Margie recently experienced a string of difficulties that have left her in need of support.
A sudden health issue sent her to the hospital , where she was in intensive care for over a week. She was also involved in a car accident that caused her a sternal fracture and broken rib, and her car was totaled.
She is now resting and recovering at home, but she has been unable to work or earn income for several weeks. She has expensive hospital bills, and she will need a car to get to work once she’s recovered.
That’s where you come in.
By donating whatever you can, you can help Margie focus on getting back on her feet instead of stressing about money. She will need funds for expenses like rent, food, utilities, and hospital bills, and to get a new vehicle.
Margie spends a lot of time taking care of others. Let’s help take care of her, too.

About the organizer
I’m Fran, and I’ve been a regular customer at the Reisterstown Family Diner for years. I met Margie as a hostess, and we bonded over many subjects, especially cats. Now I’m happy to call her my friend. When I found out she was struggling, I was determined to find a way to find a way to help.
