This is probably the hardest thing I have had to do in my life. Six months ago, I suffered a major heart attack. I had four blocked arteries and needed to have emergency surgery to have 4 stents put in. As you can imagine the road to recovery was filled with challenges. Shortly thereafter I began to suffer from depression and anxiety. Three weeks ago, my Dr changed my meds, which resulted in my depression worsening to the point where I was clinically depressed, unable to get out of bed and suicidal.
On December 26, I committed myself to a mental health hospital where I stayed for 2 weeks. During this time, the doctors decided that my meds needed to be changed, which they were and the road to recovery started and the fog is finally lifting. However, as a result of these health issues, my whole world was turned financial upside down.
At 61, I was not prepared to face these unexpected financial challenges. While I am blessed to finally have regained my health, this experience has left me burdened with debt that I was not prepared for at this late stage of life. The funds from this request with go towards medical bills, paying for my meds, rent and other necessities needed to live. Your generosity and kindness will help me get back on track so I can continue my path to mental wellness.
So I am asking from the bottom of my heart for whatever you can spare in this tough time and I would be eternally grateful for your assistance in my time of need.
Aloha,
Marc
