Hello, my name is Mariela, but my close friends call me Mara. I am a single mother of 2 beautiful young ladies. I am 45 years old and looking to live longer. For many years, I've been on a roller-coaster when it comes to my health. I was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. By the time we caught it, it was advanced. There is a blood treatment that I can do. My insurance will pay and cover a lot of the total amount along with an organization, but I'm left with having to pay $25,000 for treatment. I never thought I would have to do this, and I am sorry for asking for help. I really don't have a family that can help. It's just me and my girls, and they still need me, and I need them.
