30 years cancer free!

In 1995, I was diagnosed with PNET, a malignant tumor in my chest wall. Through the strength of family, friends and modern medicine, I was thankfully able to recover. Since that time, I have been to college, law school, backpacked through Europe, been to China, and started a family.

June 1st marks the day when what was left of the tumor was removed and I was, for all intents and purposes, "cancer-free." To honor this 30-year milestone, we are raising money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Back in 1995, I was fortunate enough to have been granted a wish, and the sights, smells and sounds of that day have remained fresh in my mind as if it happened yesterday. It is truly a wonderful organization that does nothing but good for children who are in a horrible situation that is completely outside their control. We are hoping to raise enough money to at least grant one child's wish.
