Hello everyone, I am reaching out to all of my friends and family to help support my mother, Arlene Paige, regain her at-home independence. My mother was suddenly and unexpectedly attacked by a very rare disease called Necrotizing Autoimmune Myopathy. This disease, seemingly overnight, rendered her physically immobile and unable to even turn onto her side while in bed or hold herself up in a wheelchair. She has spent the last few weeks in the hospital receiving high-dose steroids as well as IV infusions and will be discharged home soon and wheelchair-bound.

In order to support her achieving proper mobility/accessibility with getting around her home as well as transporting to IV infusion treatments, physical therapy, and numerous other medical appointments, we hope to purchase ramps, a stair lift, a mobility scooter, a walker rollator, and mobility transfer aids.
