On March 12th, Lynn was diagnosed with Stage III colon cancer. Just a month later, on April 14, she underwent surgery to remove the tumor from her colon. We were hopeful that the surgery had successfully removed the cancer and that Lynn could begin moving forward with healing.

Unfortunately, on August 13, a ctDNA test came back positive, indicating the presence of cancer. Lynn then underwent additional testing, including CT scans, a PET scan, blood work, and appointments with her oncology team at St. Joseph's Center for Cancer Treatment and Prevention. The results brought sad news: the cancer had spread to her liver and is now considered Stage IV cancer.

Lynn is now facing another difficult chapter in her battle. She underwent surgery today, Sept 22nd, where doctors explored and performed an ablation to help destroy the tumors on her liver. Decisions regarding when chemotherapy will start, will be made once her doctors have a better understanding of the extent of the cancer and the success of the procedure.

As difficult as it is for all of us, especially Lynn, to ask for help, we have decided to create this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden she is facing. Lynn has already accumulated significant medical expenses and will continue to face many more costs related to ongoing testing, surgery, treatments, chemotherapy, travel, and recovery.

Lynn is strong and blessed with an incredible circle of family and friends. We cannot thank everyone enough for the love, support, prayers, and encouragement that have carried her through these difficult months.
