My name is Lynne Inderwies. I have two small children and I found out in April, right after I was fired from my job of 13 years, that I am in end stage liver failure. NJ Unemployment has denied my claim because Brick is fighting it. so I have had virtually no income since the beginning of March. Disability can take forever and in my case is taking even longer because they "can't verify my identity" due to email issues (I have no access the the emails I used when I made my account to get fingerprinted for my job). I have almost completed all of the steps to be put on the transplant list, however, I have been in and out of the hospital at least 20 times since April. I have to go to the hospital 2 times a week to get the ascites drained from my abdomen and recently found out that now I have fluid building up around my heart and lungs also. My doctor is in Pennsylvania which I have to go to at least once a month. All of the hospital visits and doctors appointments makes it impossible to get a new job given all of the unknowns. Even though I have insurance, the medications, copays and hospital visits are adding up and if I do finally get a transplant those costs will only go up for the rest of my life. Bills are adding up and I'm still trying to figure it out but in the meantime, I'm very quickly running out of money. I know everyone says this but I wouldn't be asking if I wasn't sincere.
