Yesterday was my dog birthday, and what should have been a joyful day turned into a scary one. Luna, my energetic, and incredibly smart husky, got into something she shouldn’t have and had to be rushed to vet. She ended up needing to stay for monitoring and treatment, which can be a huge financial burden. Luna means the world to me, she is more than a pet, she is family.
