Meet Luna! Luna is a very good girl. But Luna needs some rehab and a family that can afford to give her everything she deserves.

Back story:

I rescued Luna a little over a week ago. Her previous owners had essentially abandoned her, and the person who ended up with her was in my shoes—knew absolutely nothing about Poodles and, frankly, couldn’t afford to give her the proper care. So, I rescued her.

I noticed a few things right off. Her fur was matted so badly, it was hanging down into her mouth, and you couldn’t see her eyes. She was also skittish when I reached out to pet her. She wanted the love, but she cowered from it at first. She was being kept outside in a small fence because they didn’t have anywhere else to put her. So, I rescued her.

Here we are, almost another week, and I absolutely don’t have the time or money to work with Luna.

I’ve researched rescue missions specifically for Standard Poodles, where they will properly groom and train her based on her specific needs. The best legitimate rescue I have found is Standard Poodle Rescue in Pensacola, FL. Here’s where YOU come in.

I need to raise the money for gas to get there, a hotel to rest in before heading back home as I will be the only driver, and the gas to get home. I’m trying to do this trip on Saturday, so any assistance will be GREATLY appreciated.
